I’m Laura, an award-winning entrepreneur dedicated to achieving results and growing a portfolio of satisfied clients.
My journey began over 14 years ago when I established my first business – leasing out pushchairs and baby equipment to holiday parks – whilst on maternity leave with my first child.
During this time, I perfected my skillset, including website design and marketing along with learning the value of business branding. Before long other small business owners started to approach me for help and, as demand grew, I decided to sell my first company and concentrate all my efforts on the new one.
My career path has brought a clutch of local and national awards along the way and I was named among the Top 50 Business Advisers in the UK by Enterprise Nation.
Personal highlights also include being invited over to Germany for a World Skills Summit, meeting James Caan and many other inspirational people at the House of Lords, hearing amazing branding and marketing advice at Innocent Smoothie headquarters and filming a video with Barclays and MumsNet about how mums juggle parenting whilst running a business.
A firm believer in the power of networking, I am also the proud co-owner of The Family Network which has a track record of connecting, supporting and motivating fellow small business owners.
Most importantly, I am extremely passionate about the work I do and the valuable role I play in enabling other entrepreneurs to pursue their aspirations, whether it’s helping them take their first steps along the path to success or supporting their business growth.
In my down time, I love to relax with a glass of fizz or regular gym visits and like to surround myself with lots of laughter – hanging out with my friends, family and my three beautiful children as often as possible.
